Bradenton Beach Vacation, Hotel, Restaurant, Shopping and Things to Do Guide
Located at the southern end of Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach is a charming and vibrant Florida beach community located at the south end of Anna Maria Island which is located at the southern entrance to Tampa Bay on the Gulf of Mexico. We share the island with our sister cities of Holmes Beach and Anna Maria City.
Bradenton Beach can be reached from the City of Bradenton by crossing bridges on Cortez Road or Manatee Avenue. Travelers can also reach Bradenton Beach from Longboat Key to the south by using the bridge over Longboat Pass. Bradenton Beach shares Anna Maria Island with the cities of Holmes Beach and Anna Maria.
Bradenton Beach entices visitors with miles of uninterrupted white sugar sand beaches on the Gulf side and mangrove lined bays on the east side.
For decades Bradenton Beach was the hub of activity on Anna Maria Island. From the twenties until the late-fifties, Cortez Bridge extending from Bradenton Beach was the only Bridge to the City of Bradenton.
Things to do on Bradenton Beach include fishing from the City Pier, which is also home to a full service Café and bait shop. Inshore and deeps sea fishing charters are also available as are boat rentals and parasailing. Click Here for the best deals on Bradenton Beach Hotels!
